How do the three active ingredients work?
Each active ingredient numb the skin at different rate and time. Numbing effect of benzocaine is fast but only numbs for a short time; numbing effect of lidocaine is slower than benzocaine but lasts longer than benzocaine; finally numbing effect of tetracaine starts later than benzocaine and lidocaine, but numbing effect last the longest. This combination results in overall quick and long lasting numbing effect from this product.
Why is numbing cream oil base?
Oil based cream adheres to the skin better and last longer on skin.
Are there fillers in the numbing cream besides the active ingredients?
Numbing cream is made up of the three active ingredients in a oil base (carrier vehicle is required to hold the active ingredients). No other fillers or additives have been added.
Are there any harmful preservatives added?
Absolutely not. We do not add any harmful or potentially questionable ingredients (e.g. parabens) to our product as they can harm your skin and body.
The colour of the cream is yellowish brown, is this normal?
Yes it is. Again, we do not use any preservatives or cream whiteners in our product. So that is the natural colour of the finished product. Over time this cream will brown even more as the oil is oxidizing. This is normal and will not harm the product.
What is the pH of your product?
Our product tested in the 5.5 pH range.
